It’s not quite a milestone yet, but it’s getting close. We’re pretty sure Liam is teething. He had a couple of difficult nights in the last week and was just more or less irritable during the day. He’s taken to gumming things rather than sucking on them when he puts them in his mouth, or when we put them in his mouth. These things are mostly fingers, his pacifier, and teething toys. Jen is still trying to decide if she’s going to continue breast feeding after he gets teeth. My own personal choice would be to not put my breasts anywhere near the mouth of something that has teeth but isn’t quite adept at using them. But women are a whole different creature from men; if men had to go through childbirth the total world population would be 2. And they would both be men wondering what had happened to everyone else.

We also took Liam Christmas tree hunting this past Saturday. He hung out in his Snugli the whole time and just watched everything going on around him. He’s quite the little observer. Of course we took pictures, and I will try to get them posted this evening.
